So, to reach there, one has only two option airways and waterways. As it is located in East coast, it is good to take flight from Chennai or West Bengal to Port Blair. It cost you around 6 to 7 thousand. If you want to go there by ship you have to know that you can get ship only from Chennai, Kolkata and Vishakhapatnam. So, it is hard to get ship because in a month only 4 to 5 ships go to that place, and it takes approximately 50 to 60 hours to reach there if the weather is good. The cost depend on the classes, if you choose bunk classes then it cost you around2600 rupees and for deluxe classes it cost around 10 to 12 thousand. If you are a budget Traveller, it cost you around 1 to 2 thousand rupees everyday, but you have to compromise for the trip.
One can get hotel there which start from 800 rupees to 10000 rupees. You can spend 250 to 500 rupees for food. The famous food of Andaman and Nicobar Island are Fish Curry, Amritsari Kulcha, Chilli Curry, Coconut Prawn Curry, Tandoori fish and many other foods.
You can hire bike or scooty which start from 500 rupees per day.

1. Havelock Island.
Swaraj or Havelock Island is famous for its entrancing white sandy beaches among the most beautiful beaches in Andaman. It is also famous for marvelous reef and rapturous swimming elephants. Best way to reach there is through Port Blair. One can take private or public ferry services.

2. Neil Island.
Neil Island is best known for its unparalleled biodiversity and unexplored span of dense tropical forests and greenery complemented by white sand beaches and rich coral reefs.
It is currently known as Shaheed Dweep. This is the small island that spans over an area of 14 sq.KM approximately.
3. Ross Island.
The most unique thing about the island is that civilian's settlements of any kinds is prohibited by administration, so, one cannot stay there at night, therefore everyone must leave the island before the evening.
4. Jolly Buoy.
Jolly Buoy Island offers a breathe taking underwater view of coral and marine life. It is very good place for snorkeling. It is one of the most beautiful islands in Andaman and Nicobar.
One can only reach there by boat from Wandoor. It opens only for 6 months in a year. When it closes, Red Skin Island opens up. This is located in Mahatma Gandhi National Park. The entry ticket is 950 rupees for this island which also include boat ticket.
5. Cellular Jail or Kala Pani.
This was constructed by Britishers in 1906. It was the pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. It is located in Port Blair of Andaman and Nicobar Island. Political prisoners and hardened criminals from all over the British raj were sent to the remote Andaman Island as Punishment.
