Top seven places in India which absolutely feels like another planet.

 Almost everyone over the world love to travel and visit adventurous places but when it is natural places like mountains or sea then it is absolute heaven for us. There are many natural places which looks like not belong to earth but it is in India. So, today I'm going to tell about top seven places which is located in India, but it feels like it belongs to another planet.

1. Zanskar Valley.

Zanskar Valley is located in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. Zanskar lies 250 KM south of Kargil town on NH301.
This is the most beautiful snowcapped mountains here, having pleasant whether. It is one of those places which still practices the ancient Tibetan Buddhism traditions. In Zanskar Valley, there are seven timeless Monasteries. Karsha Gompa is the largest among them and oldest too.



The valley lies 105 km away from Leh and it is very good and adventurous place for sports like paragliding, trekking, water rafting, ice hockey, mountain biking, rock climbing and many others thing.
The best month to visit Zanskar Valley is June to September. The weather during this time is quite pleasant and perfect for having adventurous vacation.
One can reach there via Srinagar Kargil Padum route and the other route is available via Manali.




The Ladakh-Zanskar Trek is one of the most beautiful trek in the Indian Himalayan region that attracts mountain lovers as well as explorers from all over the world. 
This trip will take you at least 5 days from Leh to Kargil.

Suru Valley.
Shafat Glacier. 
Drang Drung Glacier.
Umasi La.


2. Dzukou Valley.

This valley is located between Senapati district of Manipur and Kohima District of Nagaland in Northeast of India. Dzukou Valley is known for its natural beauty, seasonal flower and flora and fauna.
This valley has a wide variety of flowers every season. The most famous one among them is " Dzukou Lily". It is an all-season destination. But the best month is June to September because during this time the rain makes the mountains greener, and the flowers start blooming. In this time, you can only witness the Dzukou Lily. The entry fee is 30 rupees.



3. Sambhar Lake.

The Sambhar Lake is India largest inland Salt Lake which is located in Jaipur district of Rajasthan. It surrounds the historical Sambhar Lake town. It attract tens of thousands of flamingos and other migratory birds from northern Asia and Siberia from November to February. It is also the source of most of Rajasthan's salt production. It produces 196,000 tonnes of clean salt every year. It is about 84 km away from Jaipur. It is believed that the Sambhar Lake is created by Vasudev.



4. Pangong Lake.

Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake which is located in Eastern Ladakh of India. It is one of the most beautiful places witnessing the pure nature and blue water. It is world highest saltwater lake which is situated at a height of almost 4,350m. 
Its water seems to be dyed in blue. It is divided into five sub lakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso (twin lake) and Nyak Tso. Approximately 50 % of the length of the overall lakes lies within Tibet in China, 40% within Ladakh, and remaining 10% is disputed. During winter the lakes freezes completely. As it is a border area, a special permit is required to visit here.




5. Wari Chora.

Wari Chora is a small village located in Meghalaya. It is surrounded by hill, lush green forest. This place is recently discovered by travellers. So, it feels like a scared place before human arrived here.
The tribe live there called Garo tribe, A chik in their local language. Hunting is a skill that is highly valued among the Garo people. They also posses a traditional knowledge of medicinal properties of various plants.
There you can to many activities like river rafting, hiking to the falls. The best time to visit Wari Chora is between November to February as that time the weather is pleasant cold.
One can reach there in a best possible way is by taking a private cab from the city of Shillong via NH106.

6. Puga Valley.

Puga Valley is situated in the Changthang Valley, very close to the Salt Lake valley about 22 km away in Ladakh. It is known for its natural beauty and geothermal activities. Puga Valley is also visited for its hot Sulphur spring. This is 30 km long valley and an absolute treat to watch as it is natural place. Many people come here to take bath in hot spring. While admiring the mountains, many of which are snowcapped and also the trees, boulders etc.
 It is an excellent and mind-blowing place for photography. You can also spot sheep, yak, Brahminy ducks, bar-headed geese, and many more wildlife here. April to June is one of the best months to visit here.





7.Gurudongmar Lake.

It is one of the highest lakes in the world which is located in Sikkim in India at an elevation of 5,430m. It is located in the Great Himalayas in the Mangan District. It is considered as the holy places for Hindus, Buddhists and Sikhs.
It is one of the most beautiful lakes in Sikkim. This lake is named after Guru Padmasambhava also known as guru Rinpoche- Founder of Tibetan Buddhism. People are not allowed to take bath in this lake. You can see their animal like Yaks, Blue Sheep and many more wildlife here.
Best time to visit here is March to June. Avoid end half of December to end February if you are planning a trip.
